What We Do

  • In essence we are agile working consultants – bringing together Property, HR and ICT to help organisations develop holistic performance improvement.
  • The Agile Organisation is a niche consultancy that focuses on the occupation and use of property and the workplace as a support and catalyst for workforce and culture change, business value and cost transformation. 
  • We work with public  and private sector clients to understand their business needs and develop agile occupation strategies, plans and guidelines that align with and support key corporate objectives and new ways of working.
  • We do this by portfolio and occupation review, workforce and resource analysis, management and supplier engagement, benchmarking and business case development and implementation of  workstyle and agile working initiatives.

  • The Agile Organisation is a loose association of Workplace and Change Consultant practitioners  focussed on research, development and implementation of real estate occupation and change with specific emphasis on agile working and workstyle.

Paul Allsopp BSc (Hons):

The Agile OrganisationManaging Director and  Principal Consultant. A Member of the WCO  with wide-ranging property occupation knowledge, experience and successful track record gained in corporate property departments.  He previously headed the BT Agile Working Strategy & Programme, developed and managed implementation of  the BT C21 Office  & Call Centre Strategy and was responsible for delivering the award-winning BT Workstyle 2000 Programme in UK Provinces. Over the last 4 years has worked as consultant to public and private sector organisations developing and implementing property change and new ways of working.

What We Have Done

  • We have wide experience in property change in the private sector although current activity is principally with public sector clients directly, and also indirectly in conjunction with major consultancies and delivery organisations such as Capita, Capita Symonds,  EC Harris, Kier Group, Savills, Concerto Consulting, Coventry Care Partnership  and Service Birmingham.
  • Recent engagements have included workstyle and agile working activity for Stoke City Council, Sheffield City Council Workstyle Programme, the Enabling Agile Working Programme at Birmingham City Council, the Adaptive Working Programme at Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council and workstyle development for Coventry City Council, NHS Coventry and agile working at Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. We are also currently appointed agile working adviser to Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing and workplace framework consultants for Severn Trent Water plc.
  • As experts in our field, we carry out research, write articles, blog and deliver seminars and workshops on “agile working”, “workstyle”, property occupation, change and strategy – including work with Public Sector Forums, National Grid, Notting Hill Housing, NPower plc, and the Records Management Society.
